No fluff, only real talk
For a long time, I was the “doing great” person — good education, good career path, responsible, driven, independent. On paper, everything looked okay. But inside, I was overwhelmed, stressed, constantly overthinking. And the strange part? There wasn’t always someone I could really talk to about it. Parents love you, but sometimes they don’t fully relate. Friends care, but everyone is carrying their own load. Therapy felt like taboo. So I did what most of us do. I kept it in. Over time, I realised we just need someone to sit with our thoughts without judging or rushing to fix us. That’s how Mahasvana was born — a safe space to vent and feel heard.
- Talk it Out
- Feel Heard
Decoding "Mahasvana" (Great Sound)
‘Svana’ means sound — not just noise, but something that carries feeling. I chose the name Mahasvana because I have always believed that what we hold inside needs a voice. Sometimes just saying things out loud changes how heavy they feel. Mahasvana is about creating space for those sounds — your thoughts, your emotions, your messy in-between feelings — to be heard and understood.
About Me
My path hasn’t been straight or predictable. I started out studying corporate law and worked at a top-tier law firm in India. Somewhere along the way, I realised I was more curious about the business side of things, so I moved to Australia to study International Business and later shifted into strategy roles in the startup space. At the same time, I was still travelling, presenting at conferences — even at places like Oxford — and performing Kuchipudi across different countries, including a UN cultural event in Greece. On paper, it all looked exciting. Different cities. Different roles. Different worlds.
But behind all of that, I was just figuring things out like everyone else. Dealing with uncertainty. Burnout. Trying to live up to expectations — mine and everyone else’s. Learning slowly that achievements don’t magically silence self-doubt. Mahasvana didn’t come from having life neatly planned. It came from living through ambition, pressure, confusion — and still needing a place to talk it all out. It’s for anyone balancing who they are with who they’re expected to be, and feeling a little overwhelmed somewhere in between.
